HAHAHAHA!
“But shorely, it did go on.”
hahahahahaha
(still laughing)
-
:) It’s good to know I can always resort to puns to make you laugh!
-
Always. I’m a sucker for a good/terrible pun.
-
-
~ Ohhh! I See What You Did There! LOL
-
-
That’s awesome! And so beautiful too!!
-
Thanks Audrey :)
-
-
LOVE all the puns!
-
Thanks! The ocean is just teeming with them. I figured the commenters would keep piling them on :)
-
So, you’d say you were expecting a wave of ocean related puns in the comments?
-
-
-
OMG, the word play is fabulous! Might I just say the cut paper icons on the bottom–freaking awesome!
-
Thanks! I just figured out how to put them there! :D
-
-
You’re awesome! And amazing! Awesomely amazing!!!
-
You are too kind.
-
-
I think my fav is the “sea turtle” …so awesome.
-
I drew a sketch a few weeks ago of Ashley wearing a box as a turtle shell, and I loved it so much that I basically wrote the comic around it :)
-
-
aaaaand this just made my day.
-
yay! :)
-
-
have you seen the frickin’ dog chasing the crab video? seriously. for some reason your post reminded me of it. as usual, i thoroughly enjoyed. xo
-
Hahaha, I haven’t! I’ll have to track it down now!
-
-
Wow, it never occurred to me as a kid to tie oversized pant legs together to make a “mermaid tail.” Chrissy is very creative. :)
-
What, no props to me for wearing tights on my head? ;)
-
-
You are incredibly clever and talented. What a great way to tell this story!
-
Thanks Margie :)
-
-
Oh you’re so punny!
-
I was really floundering for an idea for the alt text this time.
-
-
Happy!
-
Joy!
-
-
hahahah brillopads.
-
:D
-
-
I wish I had four sisters to play Little Mermaid with! My brothers weren’t too keen on it and I had to settle for watching it on an endless loop.
-
Oh yeah, we were all crazy for The Little Mermaid… but not the Disney a version. A sad anime version with a mermaid named Marina who turns to sea foam at the end. Plus… she didn’t wear shells.
-
-
That looks like a lot more fun than the times we had as kids playing “house”. I was always the dog.
-
Haha! Ashley and Charlotte used to fight for who got to be the dog. I was always the mom because I was the bossiest.
-
Now that I think about it, it seems quite odd that I, as the control freak, would usually plead for the more subservient role!
-
-
-
Nice.
-
Thank you.
-
I have the theme stuck in my head right now.
-
-
-
that is so cute!
-
Thanks :) We played this SO many times. I still remember all the weird make-believe games we’d play.
-
-
Love it. Another brilliant post.
-
Glad you liked it! :D
-
-
Excellent stuff.
-
Thank you :)
-
-
I simply hate it when the cephalopods get up in arms. Well done. Freshly Pressed gods, where are you?
-
Haha! I guess they heard you!
-
-
This is hilarious. It too me a second to get it- but my goodness it’s hilarious!!!
-
Thanks :) Glad you think so!
-
-
I’m not as observant as many of your readers, but still in awe of your talent! Superb!
-
:) Thanks for stopping by!
-
-
Oh, brilliant! …. and those eyebrows again!
-
A shrimp with eyebrows really cracked me up for some reason. Thinking of making a card with the shrimp on it. :)
-
-
Awww… you had an awesome childhood!
-
Definitely :)
-
-
Just can’t wait for my email notification. Cracks me up every time

I so love the way this was revealed to be you all dressing up — brilliant, Nicki. The red tights on the head is perfect.
-
I thought the red tights were so convincing. I really felt like I WAS a shrimp when wore those things on my head. It was so magical.
-
-
This is definitely genius. Do you have a book deal? Why don’t you have a book deal? This would be a Christmas bestseller in the blink of a little felt eye. :)
-
Ha! Well, I think one has to have a book first… but thanks for the vote of confidence!
-
-

-

-
Haha, thank you! I appreciate the enthusiasm!
-
-
The last frame is priceless ! We did the same thing as kids…why is it whenever someone wanted to change character it would throw off the whole game; as if an extra mermaid would upset the natural order of the entire world…;)
-
I don’t know, sort of baffling now. :)
-
-
Mutiny UNDER the Bounty! Looks like only Tess is happy about the situation.
-
:D Tess was usually blissfully unaware of tense moments until a fight erupted.
-
-
thanks my litlle princess
-
hi like this
-
Yes, what about all your panels in a book like the awesome Calvin and Hobbs one? Oh, the expression on that octopus! Those eyebrows really did the trick!
-
Hopefully someday I’ll have one! Thank again for your advice, Winn :)
-
-
Really liked all efforts of making those cut-outs from scrap…Good work!
-
Thank you! It’s really fun for me, so I don’t mind taking the time!
