I’ve been out of the ‘blogosphere’ for so long I’ve almost (just almost) forgotten how absolutely amazing this blog is. Now I’m clicking back and clicking back and enjoying a half-year’s worth of posts. It’s even better than having a marathon viewing of several seasons of my favorite tv show. :)
How cute! I have never tried calling the operator, I wonder if it would still work. But I do remember “Call the time!” and dialing POPCORN to find out what the time was. I’d completely forgotten about that. Great post! :)
Lovely work… Each of the creations are so neatly cut and highly impressive. They help to relate with the story so well..I am glad I came across your blog.
i just stumbled upon your beautiful, beautiful blog here and wanted to say *thank you*. so much creativity, such wonderful stories.

In Australia there is a “concierge” number that will help you find just about anything (the 4 best reviewed 4* hotels nearest the theatre where you’ll see a play in 4 months in a city where you’ve never been; a kosher restaurant in a smaller town, etc.) Socks, I’m not so sure!
I am amazed every time I stop by. Always brilliantly clever.
Thank you! :D
Too Cute!!!
Thanks, Monica!

Aw, thanks! Welcome back!
Fantastic, Nicki. I miss telephone operators. They always seemed like a gentle stranger who really cares. Or something.
They really did seem like they cared.
Excellent facial expressions! I’ve never appreciated the power of EYEBROWS so much! Good Job!

Hahaha – psychic, magical, all-knowing operator
Lol! That is an amazing story (and illustration, as usual). I’m also impressed with your flashing clock.
Good Guy Greg as a Phone Operator
I am kind of amazed that you used that address and zip code…
Too cute! I loved it, especially the wide eyed look on her face on the last picture. Becky Pinckney

I scared my cats I laughed so hard.
This is great! I do this with my kids who are 3 and 5 all the time, they want me to make stories for them out of paper but now I am inspired.
HA!!! This is awesome!
Haha! Love the last panel. That is just creepy. :D
Freakily Funny!
Very funny! I remember the days of calling for the time but never thought to ask any other questions. :)
LOL! I remember my mom telling me to call the operator. This is awesome!
Very funny!
This is awesome! I wish I could call somebody like that, would solve a lot of problems!
This is an amazing blog! I love it!! :)
Just came to know this blog from Nita’s blog (http://nitacandra.wordpress.com)! Very innovative use of fabrics!
That was hilarious I cannot believe it was a true story
