:) Thanks!

Too bad I wasn’t as clever as a kid. To think of all the time I wasted waiting around for after lunch!
-
Bah. It’s only morning, but I could really go for some dinner. Maybe even a late night snack.
-
I think from here on out, we should just make every meal “late night snack” meal.

“After the housework is done” – my mother’s blackmail into getting us to help. Can the house be clean by 8AM? You betcha!
-
Your mother clearly knew what she was doing!

Reblogged this on jessicaslavin.

Hey it’s worth a shot! hahha. That it is. Great stuff as usual.

Thanks, Jackie! :)

Well, I’m sure it IS lunchtime SOMEWHERE in the world…. Loved it!
-
Ha! Good point!
-
-
I wonder if that would work for my boss… I could tell him that I actually just finished lunch, thus I should get to leave in four hours!
-
Definitely worth a shot.

A meal-based system of time tragvel – genius!
-
Kids are fountains of such genius!
-
-
Squish totally agrees with that idea. If I say “after lunch,” he says “This cereal IS my lunch.”
-
Squish knows what’s up.

I do believe in a meal based time travel … that way I could always get everything done before dinner
-
Hahahahaha! It’s a pretty good system?
-
:-)

It was probably lunchtime in Sydney…
-
:D

-
What a treasure! Thanks for sharing your creations.
-
Thank you!

-
Way to out smart the system. If you can have breakfast for dinner, you can certainly have lunch for breakfast.
-
I totally agree!
-
This is genius.

Yay, a Middlest Sister story starring Tess!!! When did this story take place? In the previous two stories, Tess hadn’t even been born yet.
-
Oh, I’m not sure… at this point, things get jumbled up :)
-
-
I knew exactly what you were referring to when I read the title of the post. I got all fangirly.
<3
-
I don’t think a day goes by that I don’t reference HHGTTG :D
-
-
As always, fun… and love the new header.
-
Meal-based-time-travel… this could change everything.
-
You are right. I have had two breakfasts today. I’m not sure if that means I went backward or forward in time, though.

Aw, thank you! Your words are so encouraging!
-
-
I can’t believe I never thought of that.
-
It’s amazing what kids will come up with to get what they want.
-
-
So, Nicki, did you and your siblings actually test Tess’ theory, or not?
-
Not that I remember. For all we know, it works!
-
-
Sure it works. Uh oh: doesn’t it work?
-
I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award! Hopefully I’m doing it right and you’ve not got it yet. If you already have, take it as a token of my admiration (?) and award yourself the [insertawardhere] trophy. Good enough.

Nothing ever comes fast enough in kid world.
-
And yet, everything comes much too fast in adult world.

P.S., Does the meal-based system of time travel apply to birthdays as well? If I don’t eat birthday cake on my 30th birthday next year, then, according to Tess, would I stay 29 forever?
-
Great comic! Where do you come up with ideas for each comic?
-
Meal-based time travel – why didn’t someone think of this before? Scotty, beam me to my birthday cake from August 8, 1971!
-
Was this like The Matrix?
“There is no lunch.”
