I was so enjoying the fantasy and then reality hit me in the face. I think I will go back to the first few frames and dwell on them for awhile. Hey, I noticed that the little word caption thingies are working again. I know…I am such a technical savant.
I remember when I first started reading your blog and people kept talking about things you only know about if you’ve read the hover text and I thought, “What am I missing?” It took a long time, but I figured it out and I’ve so enjoyed it!
Maybe in a nice, warm conservatory! There was a terrific one where I used to live in Cincinnati. I’d visit it whenever I got the winter blues… so warm and green!
I love this. I can’t count the number of times I’ve dreamed of changes in the weather. A good strong imagination is key. Looks to me like you have that pretty much down cold.
I was gonna say “Hey, wrong season!” and then I see it’s a dream sequence, like that entire season of Dallas when Bobby turned out to be in the shower.
Very cool blog you have there and beautiful and inspirational paper cuts! I really like the sun ray effect you achieved. I also love the one on your other blog with the dwarves tunneling away beneath the surface :D.
My first visit and I am charmed. Bundle up, Nicole!
Thanks! :) Good to have new visitors!
This floods me with feeling. Hot and cold. Because, what would one be without the other?
Haha! Excellent question.

Thanks for noticing! I decided to stop being so lazy. Hover text is back from now on.
Sometimes it feels like summer is over in just a frame or two !
That’s how I feel about Fall!
I love your little felt pictures, I wish I could do them so much! Also wishing it was hot and I could go and lie on a beach somewhere …

Thanks! They are actually cut paper! The pictures are just tiny, so when I scan them and blow them up a bit, you can see the texture of the paper.
Sod’s Law, eh?
Ha!
Keep up the good work.. exercise that creativity!
Thanks Lorraine! :)
And today my kids are thinking, “What good is a snow day with no snow to play in?” I’m glad to see your captions are back too!
I’d really like to see the warm weather in the fantasy part back too though!
Too bad the hover text doesn’t work with mobile! (At least, it doesn’t with mine.)
I agree with the kids–a snow day without snow is like an empty promise.

Aww, it wasn’t supposed to be a secret!
I found you pretty early on in my blogging game. There was (and really still is) so much I didn’t know! But it was a fun surprise.
This was especially timely given it was -9 today. Add in the windchill, a balmy -25.
Brrrrr! Perfect weather for a hot toddy, though.
These are so clever. Keep it up! Looking forward to the next one!!
Thank you for the encouragement!
i was enjoying the lake as well!…… SIGHHHHHHHH!
Hahaha! Sorry!
I feel like this right now. One sunny day and I want to bring out my sandals and have a picnic. Too bad it’s only January!

The way you got that glare on the cloud is awesome ;D
Thanks! My photoshop skills are inching along :p

Your work makes everything better. Seriously. :-)
feel like I need a warm blanket and some hot cocolate! Great post, love your blog.
Just as in life, I didn’t expect the summer to end so suddenly…
love your graphics and stories!
