High Aspirations

My crazy move got even crazier… since my whole life is still in boxes, here’s another reblog from a very early comic I made. I still have high aspirations, do you?

PS– I have been updating my other cut-paper art blog at nicolesmeltzer.com, or you can follow along on my instagram. I am working on a new comic with every spare moment I have, so stay tuned :)

The Middlest Sister

When we were little, it was very popular to tell children they could grow up to be anything they wanted to be. So when Tess was asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, she answered very earnestly…

The sun's glare is harsh

Tess closes her eyes and concentrates

Tess begins to rise off the groundTess is higher than the birdsTess breaks through Earth's atmosphereTess approaches the sunTess stands next to the sun nonchalantly BUMP!Tess usurps the sun's spotTess replaces the sun

…”I want to be the sun”

    1. I don’t think I have any good tips, since my own move has been one disaster after another :D Maybe examine your new home and your new lease very, very carefully, and don’t feel pressured to make a quick decision?
